We live near the beach but it seems hard to get there before the sun goes down. It’s our own fault because we don’t plan beach days we just say we’re gonna go… later. Next thing you know the sun’s going down. Oh well, it’s still a good time for the kids to get the wiggles out.

We will always love the feeling of being at the beach and I don’t think pictures or videos will ever be enough for us to remember watching these guys. On the walk back to the car the kids decided to have a roll in some perfect lawn at the curb. What a bunch’a nuts.

The long summer nights are great and we squeeze out every drop of sun. We just took the kids to a playground at Balboa park and stayed long enough to see the sun going down.

In the distance you can see the Prado and the building that houses the old pipe organ. We still seem to experience San Diego like tourists because we are still new here. But, I’d love to keep that outlook as long as possible because it’s a great way to look at the world.
